Application Engineer for Semiconductor Manufacturing Software Systems

Role Overview:

Our client is looking for an Application Engineer to work directly with clients and internal teams. The role includes deploying software systems, supporting users, and ensuring project timelines are met. You'll help define deliverables, support testing, and address customer needs as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with software developers to provide user feedback, test new versions, and manage software releases.
• Offer technical support and troubleshooting for factory scheduling tools and process systems.
• Deliver updates to internal teams on customer feedback, application performance, and suggestions for improvement.
• Lead user training sessions to help clients use the application effectively.
• Contribute to estimation of project requirements and timelines.
• Present technical product demonstrations during sales or onboarding discussions.
• Work with the consulting and sales teams to ensure client goals are met.
• Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders, sharing updates and identifying upcoming needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in semiconductor manufacturing or related field.
• Diploma or Bachelor's in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Familiar with industrial engineering practices.
• Proficient in SQL and database tools.
• Willing to travel overseas (10–30%).
