Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Power Query & Power Pivot Trainer with an ACLP (Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance) certification to deliver hands-on training sessions to professionals and corporate teams. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in Excel-based data modeling tools and a proven ability to engage adult learners through interactive and practical learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver comprehensive training programs on Power Query and Power Pivot tailored to various proficiency levels (beginner to advanced).
- Facilitate engaging, hands-on workshops using real-world data sets and business use cases.
- Develop instructional materials including slides, manuals, exercises, and assessments.
- Customize content for specific industries and client objectives.
- Assess learner progress and provide feedback to ensure understanding and skill development.
- Stay updated on the latest Microsoft Excel and Power Platform features to keep training content current.
- Work collaboratively with instructional designers, training coordinators, and business stakeholders to ensure training effectiveness.
- Provide post-training support and mentorship to participants when needed.
Required Qualifications:
- ACLP (Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance) certification (mandatory).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience using Power Query and Power Pivot in real-world business scenarios.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in training, teaching, or facilitation roles (preferably in a corporate setting).
- Strong knowledge of Excel functions, data modeling, and data transformation techniques.
- Familiarity with DAX formulas and M language is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to engage and manage adult learners in both in-person and virtual environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in designing and developing course materials based on adult learning principles.
- Familiarity with tools like Power BI, SQL, or other BI platforms is a plus.
- Ability to adapt training content quickly based on audience feedback or project changes.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
