WSH Manager

Job Description

• Risk assessments – able to Identify and assess workplace hazards and track the progress of corrective and preventive actions.

• Safety Implementation -maintain, and review the organization’s Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

• Incident Investigation – to conduct incident investigations, identifying causes of accidents, and non-compliance with organizational and legal WSH standards.

• Regulate Compliance - ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards through regular audits and site inspections.

• Safety Management – administrate and advise the project management team on risk assessments, safety controls, and updates to relevant safety, health, and environmental legislation.

• Auditing – Lead Environmental, Health, and Safety audits as required.

• Site Coordination - attend construction site safety meetings and assist site safety personnel with incident management.

• Review and maintain – review & update Safety and Health Management System to incorporate new regulations or amendments.

• Training – conduct EHS training for all employees on risk and safe work procedures.
  

Requirements

• Possess a Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH)

• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience as a Safety Officer or in a similar safety role within construction projects.

• BizSafe Level 4 Certification and Fire Safety Manager (FSM) Certification.

• Proficiency in English to effectively communicate safety procedures and regulations.
