Software Architect (North / IT Industry)

We’re seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Software Architect to define and lead the architectural strategy for complex, enterprise-grade applications. You'll play a key role in ensuring scalability, security, and performance while guiding development teams and influencing technology direction.

Responsibilities:

• Architectural Strategy: Design and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance software architectures aligned with business goals.
• Engineering Standards: Establish and promote coding standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices across teams.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with developers, QA, DevOps, and security teams to integrate architecture into CI/CD and development workflows.
• Security & Compliance: Embed security, compliance, and resilience in all design decisions.
• Innovation & Modernization: Drive adoption of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and emerging technologies (AI/ML).
• Mentorship & Oversight: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams and support architectural reviews.
• Performance & Quality: Define and monitor benchmarks and KPIs to ensure architectural integrity and system excellence.
• Solutioning Support: Offer architectural insights and technical guidance during pre-sales or client engagements.

Requirements:

• 8+ years in software development and architectural design of enterprise systems.
• Expertise in Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proven skills in performance tuning, scalability, security, and resilience.
• Strong foundation in API design, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience leading technical teams and navigating stakeholder needs.
