Electrical & Mechanical (Marine)

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, maintenance, repair and replacement of marine electrical (AC/DC) and electronics systems for onboard vessel

• Troubleshoot problems for customers, provide recommendations for problem resolution: provide estimates to customer for repair, replacement and installation according to problem diagnosis and repair/replacement recommendations.

• Identifies parts that need to be replaced and places orders for parts or repair services as necessary for themselves.

• Assist the mechanical team to complete the mechanical and electrical work scope within the time frame given.

• Perform PMS service and troubleshooting of main engines and A/E control and automation systems.

• Must be able to manage time and coordinate all aspects of the job that is assigned by the Technical Manager.

• Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul tasks onboard ship

• Understand technical document to troubleshoot or provide technical support

• Capable to manage servicing and troubleshooting and recommend spare parts for following equipment:

• Main Engine Electronic Governor System

• Pneumatic Control System

• Main Engine Telegraph System

• Demonstrates efficient job planning and time scheduling for themselves.
