M&E ENGINEER

Roles & Responsibilities

• To support the construction team for M&E engineering works.
• Responsible for site activities, coordination and supervision works related to engineering and systems design.
• Oversee and ensure all M&E and related works are carried out in accordance with the approved drawings, materials and method statements, specifications and Authority codes and as per requirements of the project.
• Accountable for all M&E works, site inspections, monitoring of progress of work & variation order
• Responsible for ensuring that all M&E works of the sub-contractors are in compliance to the Company’s and authorities’ requirements
• Review M&E drawings and other materials submissions prepare by the M&E Coordinators to ensure that there are no discrepancies and/or conflicts with the architectural and structural elements
• Conduct inspections for all M&E systems.
• Liaise with consultants, clients and subcontractors on M&E works progress, coordination and decisions.
• To involve, support and assist other aspects of operational needs when assigned.
• Determines project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving site problems.
• Prepares project status reports.
• Coordinates structural details and design features within the project.
• Handle any other ad-hoc duties and tasks assigned.

Requirements:

• Should have Degree/Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering.
• Min 5 years M&E building service experience in the construction industry.
• Should be Proficient in AutoCAD/BIM Modelling.
