It successfully operates more than three thousand points of sale across Americas, Europe, Middle East, and Asia. Its aim is to animate the most loved beauty community in the world.
Sephora Southeast Asia Oceania is a high growth division of leading global beauty retailer, Sephora. Our teams run omni-channel retail businesses in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, and New Zealand, franchise operations in India & Indonesia and we run ecommerce only businesses (the first in the world globally for Sephora!) in Philippines. Our success is built on innovation, a unique product portfolio, market leading digital capability, and our exceptional peo-ple! With ambitious growth plans we are always looking for talented people who are passionate about building businesses and developing themselves and our customers’ experience.
The Opportunity
Our Marketing organization aims to inspire and connect people through meaningful storytelling, always pushing the norms and boundaries, one person, one community at a time.
We are a strategic team of big thinkers and creatives who truly work interdependently to stimulate demand and driving traffic to our network. From developing marketing strategies, designing toolkits, connecting local consumer insights to our expertise & selection, planning our loyalty program, writing copy to building exciting in-store experiences, we are constantly finding ways remind beauty lovers why Sephora is extraordinary and cement our place as an authentic beauty expert.
Your Role at Sephora
As an Assistant Manager, Social & PR, you will be responsible for executing Sephora’s events and brand partner social strategy, that drive awareness & credible consideration vs competition across Southeast Asia & Oceania.
This dynamic role encompasses event planning, and developing brand partner social toolkits. The ideal candidate will be an organised, and results-oriented individual with a passion for storytelling and brand building.
You will report to the Senior Manager, Social & PR and collaborate across departments to ensure consistent brand messaging and impactful online representation. This involves supporting the execution of social media strategies and leading all aspects of PR events. You will work with external vendors and internal teams to gather and analyse social media trends (both micro and macro) to inform campaign support and program enhancements. You will also assist in collaborations with brand partners, with a particular emphasis on supporting Only@Sephora brands to enhance the visibility within our broader social media efforts.
You must have in-depth knowledge, understanding and experience in events and social landscape within SEA and Oceania, and preferably experience and/or interest in beauty.
The successful candidate should be able to harness their understanding of best practices and trends in events and social media management to position Sephora as a leader vs competition in the digital landscape.
Key Responsbilities
Sephora is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace for all. We do not discriminate in recruitment, hiring, training, advancement, or other employment practices. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating and fostering an inclusive environment for all employees.
