Facility Officer***

This will be a 1-year renewable contract position based in Jurong West.

Responsibilities:

• operational support in day-to-day and events
• security management for workshops/laboratories, offices, building infrastructure and premise
• daily walkabout to ensure good operational condition, uncompromised security and safety compliance
• Ensure a safe working environment
• operational inventories management
• maintain a systematic filing system
• collaborate with in-house contractors for facilities feedback to maintain a daily operational state
• working with vendor for quotation, equipment, service
• monitor contractor work’s quality
• schedule and ensure safety during work
• handle requests and queries from staff and management
• help in executing corporate facilities related projects
• to investigate, check and analyze any workshop and laboratory breakdown
• help with facilities related SOPs, Forms and presentation materials
• essential handyman work when needed
any other duties

Requirements:

• Minimally Nitec in a related field
• 1 year of experience in operations for workshop, labs, facility, building services, AV system
• Able to break down tasks and provide realistic timelines
• Able to occasionally work outside office hours
• Understanding of HS&E requirement
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Self-driven, meticulous, able to multi-task and work independently and as part of a team
• Able to adapt to changing priorities
