We’re looking for a Sales Specialist for our business in the Temperature Control (TC) sector. The role will be focusing on Singapore primarily and the main job function is responsible for managing an account portfolio to drive growth and profitability. You'll spend 40% of your time on new business prospecting and 60% on growing existing accounts, including winning back lapsed customers. Strong people’s skills and a tenacity for success are essential to achieve sales targets and execute the TC strategy.

What you’ll do:
- Acquire Customers: Target, develop, and secure new customers as per your sales plan.
- Achieve Targets: Meet and exceed revenue and sales KPI targets.
- Manage Costs: Ensure appropriate pricing for non-rental costs like fuel, freight, and rehire.
- Present New Products: Introduce new products to clients, highlighting value propositions and pricing.
- Conduct Market Analysis: Report on competitor activities, opportunities, and market trends.
- Prepare Proposals: Create and submit technical and commercial proposals, then negotiate and secure orders.
- Obtain Credit Information: Gather credit details for prospective clients for finance/contract teams.
- Build Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with both customers and colleagues.
- Follow Processes: Adhere strictly to Aggreko's sales, CRM, and CPQ processes.
- Monitor and Troubleshoot: Analyze relevant legislation, propose fleet/service improvements, and troubleshoot on-site installations.
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
- Extensive TC/HVAC Experience: Possesses broad experience in driving growth within Temperature Control (TC) or Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC).
- Solutions Selling Focus: Has 5-6 years of sales/business development experience, ideally in equipment sales or rental, with a strong emphasis on solutions selling.
- Local Market & Regulatory Knowledge: Understands the local New Zealand market and its environmental and safety regulations.
- Key Account Management: Proven ability to effectively manage key accounts in New Zealand.
- Commercially Astute: A technically proficient sales professional with significant commercial acumen.
- Target & Results-Oriented: Highly driven by targets and results.
- Proven Success: Consistently exceeds sales and activity KPI targets.
- Handles Complexity & Innovates: Capable of managing complex situations and demonstrates creative thinking.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Driven & Committed: Highly motivated by success and shows a high level of commitment.
