What You Do
The Vice President of Strategy and Transformation will play a critical role in driving transformation and success in the Group Audit Function. The individual will be supporting the Head of Strategy and Transformation in leading and governing change initiatives through a change management strategy, and oversee people strategy initiatives, and fostering high performance culture within the function.
Change Management
Group Audit is all about oversight. Gaining experience of the bank in its entirety. Gathering insight. Building Risk and Controls expertise. Advising leadership. You might join us in Regulatory Capital Audit, Credit Risk Review, Investigation, Audit Methodology & Standards or Programme Management Office. What You Do
The Vice President of Strategy and Transformation will play a critical role in driving transformation and success in the Group Audit Function. The individual will be supporting the Head of Strategy and Transformation in leading and governing change initiatives through a change management strategy, and oversee people strategy initiatives, and fostering high performance culture within the function.
Change Management
- Support in the execution and governance of strategic change management plan and progress reporting, ensuring the roadmap is aligned with overall strategy and progress.
- Lead in the development of short- medium term technology and innovation strategy, including the implementation of leading-edge technology, audit management system, and leveraging on artificial intelligence. This includes audit management system maintenance and support activities.
- Identify and take into consideration emerging trends and leading practices to identify improvements in Internal Audit processes.
- Identify and manage key stakeholders, anticipating and addressing their concerns and needs throughout the change process.
- Lead communication and training initiatives to facilitate effective knowledge transfer, upskilling, reskilling and adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Lead in the development and execution of short-medium term people and talent management strategy to attract, develop, and retain top talent within Group Audit incorporating the end the end employee journey, future ready ways of working, competency, learning and career pathways and guest auditor programmes.
- Identify and address training and development needs, ensuring that the team has the skills, knowledge and business acumen required to excel in their roles.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
- Work collaboratively within the Strategy and Transformation team and across Group Audit, inspiring and motivating Group Audit to achieve their strategic goals.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation.
- Lead by example by modelling bank desired behaviours.
- Champion a prudent risk and compliance culture that promotes good ethics, accountability, and good conduct.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Information systems or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience in a change management or internal audit role, in financial services.
- Proven track record of leading transformational change, building high-performing teams, and driving business outcomes through people-centric strategies and technology-enabled solutions.
- Data Analysis and Project Management experience and/or certification is a plus.
- Quick learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of talent management, learning principles and practices.
- Strong understanding on the application of data and technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
