Aftersales Manager (Automotive) – $8,000

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the aftersales departments, ensuring efficiency and high service standards.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance workshop productivity, drive parts sales, and improve service profitability.
• Ensure adherence to brand standards, workplace safety protocols, and local regulatory requirements.
• Deliver a consistent and premium customer experience across all aftersales touchpoints.
• Address customer concerns promptly and professionally to maintain the dealership’s reputation.
• Design and execute customer loyalty and retention programs to foster long-term relationships.
• Lead, coach, and support service advisors, technicians, and parts personnel to achieve performance goals.
• Conduct regular training sessions, performance reviews, and career development planning.
• Cultivate a collaborative team culture and embed a strong service excellence mindset.
• Prepare, manage, and monitor departmental budgets and forecasts effectively.
• Track and analyze key aftersales KPIs, including labor and parts sales, gross margins, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using performance data and market insights.
• Manage warranty claims and processes in compliance with manufacturer guidelines and internal policies.
• Ensure full compliance with Singapore’s automotive regulations, LTA requirements, and health and safety standards.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, with a minimum of 5 years’ managerial experience in the automotive industry.
• In-depth knowledge of workshop operations, warranty administration, and parts management.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a strong track record in team development and performance management.
• Exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to handle customers effectively.
• Commercially astute, with hands-on experience in managing P&L responsibilities and achieving departmental targets.
