Role Overview:
As an Actuarial Senior Associate/Manager at PwC, you will be a key member of our Financial Services team. You will lead and support engagements across a wide range of actuarial functions, providing expert insights and solutions to our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, and contribute to the growth and development of our actuarial practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage actuarial projects for our insurance clients.
  • Conduct actuarial analysis and modelling, including risk assessment, pricing, reserving, and financial projections.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
  • Collaborate with other PwC teams to deliver integrated solutions and enhance client outcomes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies impacting the actuarial field.
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Working towards professional actuarial designation.
  • 2-3 years of experience in actuarial roles, with a focus on life insurance. Less experienced candidate may be considered for a junior role.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in actuarial software and tools (e.g., Prophet, Pathwise, Excel, R, Python, SAS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Proven project management skills and the ability to lead and mentor teams.
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities.
