DESIGN MANAGER

Job Description

• Managing design team staff, structural analysing and preparing shop drawing/calculation notes/technical documents in accordance with construction phrases
• Preparing construction scheme based on structural review of the structure resolving technical issue with client, managing various subcontractors for tunnel and other utilities
• Reviewing tender design documents and requirement
• Develop/Review shop drawing for civil/structural discipline
• Optimize temporary Earth Retaining or Stabilizing Structure (ERSS) design with ability to run FEM analysis directly considering construction methodology
• Provide design / engineering management solutions and support Projects
• Structural design & modelling of steel structure
Capable of developing concepts quickly and able to drive to realization

Requirements

• Min Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE Board
• Minimum 12 years relevant experience in construction industry with at least 10 years in main contractor capacity handling mega infrastructure project
• Must possess working experience in main contractor capacity handling mega LTA infrastructure project
• Possess leadership skills and able to lead a team
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be able to liaise with Headquarter and Singapore’s various project sites
• 6 days work week and ability to work on weekends/public holidays if needs arise
