Job Description: Data Center Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Center Network Engineer to join our infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience deploying large-scale infrastructure within data centers and a strong grasp of networking principles and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead or support data center deployments, ensuring scalable and reliable infrastructure implementation.
• Design, configure, and manage networking components including routing, switching, and traffic management protocols.
• Perform network configuration, management, and troubleshooting using a Linux/Unix command-line environment.
• Analyze and resolve complex network issues using diagnostic tools, logs, and systematic troubleshooting techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain network infrastructure in line with best practices and company standards.
• Provide field support at data center sites as needed for installation, maintenance, or upgrades.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in data center deployments and building large-scale IT infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of network protocols and technologies, including but not limited to:
  BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, TCP/IP, VLANs
• Proficiency in basic system administration and network troubleshooting using Linux/Unix CLI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly under time-sensitive or high-pressure conditions.
• Willingness and ability to perform hands-on field work in data center environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with Service Provider-grade networking hardware and architectures.
• Familiarity with routers, switches, and data center switching platforms from major vendors (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Arista).
• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, JNCIS/JNCIP, or equivalent are a plus.
