What will you be doing?
We are looking for a passionate, engaging, and ambitious Consulting Manager to join our growing team in Singapore. Reporting to the Principal Consultant, you will be taking a lead role in delivering a wide variety of bespoke consulting projects to clients. In addition, you will also serve as Argus’ subject matter expert in the petrochemicals sector
- Lead project opportunities from inception through delivery. Take responsibility for the proposal process, working closely with Commercial and other stakeholders to deliver winning proposals.
- Track and manage projects and deliverables within the region. Serve as the primary client contact for the project and ensure that projects are delivered on-time, on budget with quality that meets or exceed clients’ expectation, leading to further projects and studies.
- Support further development of Argus’ consulting capabilities and tools, primarily in the petrochemicals sector. Serve as a significant contributor to the growth of Argus’ product range and depth.
- Train junior consultants through project execution, serve as the primary avenue which junior consultants grow in their consulting and sector knowledge and experience.
- Manage the team's priorities and workloads, ensuring opportunities align with individual utilisation and overall business targets.
What we’re looking for in you
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Engineering background is preferred. Other relevant disciplines are welcome too. MBA’s and/or PhD’s are welcome (but not required).
- While we see the previous consulting experience as highly desirable, experience in petrochemicals and refining sectors, achieved from strategy and business planning, is a plus.
- An appetite for developing and enhancing relationships, securing growth and future workload through the pursuit, and winning of new work.
- Excellent communication skills to build relationships that educate, engage, and inspire people to act.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritise competing requirements.
- Technical skills: strong analytical skills, efficient use of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- A strong work ethic and a "can do" spirit, as evidenced by proactively initiating and leading initiatives and projects to successful outcomes.
- Must be able to work in a collaborative team environment and independently in line with the Argus values: Passion, Integrity, Excellence and Results.

Travel
- Cover client meetings for project execution, occasionally for business development, conferences, and events.
Hours
- Monday through Friday, 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
- Earlier or later hours, or weekend hours, may be expected on occasion.
