Job Overview
As the IT Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily IT infrastructure and service operations across Toppan Next Tech’s printing business in Singapore. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security and efficiency of IT systems supporting critical print and data processing workflows, while leading a team of IT professionals and liaising with vendors and internal business units.

Key Responsibilities:
1. IT Infrastructure & Operations

  • Manage and maintain all IT infrastructure including servers, networks, data centers, printers and backup systems.
  • Ensure uptime and performance of systems supporting high-volume secure printing operations.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively detect and resolve issues.

2. Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach and mentor a team of IT engineers and support staff.
  • Define KPIs and performance goals for the IT operations team.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and service excellence.

3. Security & Compliance

  • Oversee the implementation of IT security policies in line with data protection laws and client requirements (e.g., PDPA, ISO standards).
  • Ensure secure handling of sensitive information, especially in government and financial print jobs.
  • Support audits and compliance checks for infrastructure and operational readiness.

4. Vendor & Project Management

  • Manage relationships with IT service providers, hardware and software vendors.
  • Lead IT projects related to infrastructure upgrades, system integrations and software deployments.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business requirements and process improvements.

5. Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery

  • Develop, test and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans specific to print operations.
  • Ensure backup systems are effective and aligned with RTO/RPO requirements.

Requirements:
Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role overseeing IT operations and project management.
  • Experience in the printing, manufacturing or secure data processing sectors will be advantageous.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure (Windows/Linux servers, networking, virtualisation).
  • Experience with cybersecurity tools, policies and compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with application development, printing technologies or production workflow management will be advantageous.
