Sales & Business Development:

  • Proactively identify and qualify new sales prospects across relevant markets and sectors.
  • Support the Sales Manager in developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales proposals and presentations to secure new business.
  • Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through networking, research, and outreach.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets by executing effective sales strategies.
  • Provide regular performance reporting and analysis to the Sales Director.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of existing clients, fostering long-term partnerships and driving repeat business.
  • Conduct client consultations to assess needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional client experiences.
  • Assist in organizing meetings, presentations, and site visits as needed.

Revenue, Budget & Reporting:

  • Complete forecasts, plans, and productivity reports for management.
  • Participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget and financial plans.
  • Monitor budgets and support upselling of products and services while minimizing waste to increase revenue.
  • Assist in preparing pricing proposals and reviewing contracts for profitability

Market & Industry Insights:

  • Actively monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, food & beverage trends, and client expectations.

General & Administrative:

  • Provide support with ad hoc duties as assigned by the Sales Manager or Director.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in catering or hospitality sales, with prior experience in a support or supervisory role.
  • Proven ability to contribute to and achieve sales goals while delivering exceptional client service.
  • Familiarity with catering operations, event coordination, and budget management.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
