Fire Protection Specialist

Have the following qualifications for testing and commissioning of the Notifier NFS (Fire Panel) and (VESDA) system for the site:

• Completed the Notifier NFS2-3030 FACP training conducted by manufacturer and certified.

• Have attended the xtralis VESDA ASD Accreditation training on SR-3DT-SCA and have been accredited by the manufacturer.

• Attended the Xtralis (VESDA) Advanced system training.

• Have carried out commissioning and testing of the above system for the last 5 or more years.

• Ability to supply the OEM parts expeditiously.

Expectations:

To develop checklist in accordance with the following requirements as part of the maintenance scope:

• Checklist must meet the local as well as the following standards NFPA 72, NFPA 72E, NFPA 72G, NFPA 72H, NFPA 1221

• The checklist will be vetted, accepted and approved by the client.

• The test comprises of the following items:

o To make sure audible alarm appliances are heard, it is recommended that their sound level be at least 15 dBA above the background sound level or 5 dBA above the maximum sound level having a duration of 60 seconds or more.

o Fire Detection and Alarm Systems

o Automatic Sprinkler Systems (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annually, Annually)unded and pressure transmitter and gauge are in working condition. Level Transmitter of water tank is in working condition and reflecting level of water correctly.

• Pressure regulating devices.

• Throw test.

• Visual inspections.

• Flow testing.

• Visual Inspections

• Flow testing.

• For flow switches

• Drain Test

o Fire Doors

o PWD (Persons with Disabilities)

o Manual Fire Alarm Stations

o Duct Detectors
