Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.
Main Duties And Responsibilities

- Taking Over/Handing over with development groups for Rainforest Wild Africa (RFS)
- Plan out contract for landscape maintenance works for team of workers in ensuring effective and productive work in achieving safe & excellent landscape practices for the park
- Liaison with both internal stakeholders (other departments) and external stakeholders (public guests) in meeting their respective needs while maintaining healthy & thriving plantings for all landscape areas
- Propose landscape enhancement/ development work, research & conservation collaborations
- Control & enforce departmental policies aligned with organization's vision, mission and values
- Park In-Charge (PIC) for RFS, collaborate with entire RFS team and ensure park is always operational-ready for guests
- Develop fiscal year work plan in terms of productivity and innovation
- Participate and present proposal/ job completion, initiatives, etc. in management meeting/ site meeting with various departments/ vendors/ consultants, authorities, etc. as and when required
- Initiate & prepare necessary purchase requisition, goods receipt, reservation, etc. including Capex & Opex through SAP system.
- Oversee horticulture operations to meet the original landscape design intent.
- Monitor and coordinate with the Development Team for DLP management and record defects for timely clearance inspection leading the smooth hand over / take over.
- Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Minimum recognised Degree with Botany, Biology, Horticulture, Forestry Science, Ecology, Environmental Science / Management, Landscape Architecture or its equivalent.
- At least 5-6 years local relevant experience.
- Professional Accreditation such as AIH Certified Practising Horticulturist, ISA certified Arborist, SILA Landscape Architect will be an added advantage.
- Love nature and enjoys working in an outdoor environment.
- Good understanding on ecology and biodiversity conservation.
- Good plants knowledge will be added advantage.
- Prior experience in SESASMi and SAP will also be added advantage.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Purpose-driven, creative, proactive, positive-thinking and possess leadership quality in managing a team.
