About the Role
We are seeking a highly driven and technically proficient Technical Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) , and renewable energy solutions. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong technical background in power systems who is also commercially savvy, with a passion for sustainable technologies and energy resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales and business development for UPS, BESS, and integrated renewable energy solutions (e.g. solar PV + storage).
- Engage with clients across commercial, industrial, utility, and mission-critical sectors to understand power requirements and propose tailored solutions.
- Serve as the technical point-of-contact throughout the sales cycle, including solution design, technical presentations, and proposal development.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams for accurate system configuration, cost estimation, and technical feasibility.
- Prepare sales forecasts, develop market strategies, and track competitor activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, EPCs, M&E contractors, and channel partners.
- Provide post-sales technical support and ensure smooth handover to project delivery teams.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Power, Energy, or related Engineering field.
- Minimum 5 years of technical sales experience in UPS systems, energy storage, or renewable energy projects.
- Solid understanding of BESS applications (peak shaving, load shifting, grid support) and UPS technologies (online/double conversion, modular UPS).
- Familiarity with electrical single-line diagrams, power load calculations, and integration with solar PV or genset systems.
- Proven ability to close deals and manage long sales cycles.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Willing to travel regionally or domestically as required
