Web3 Portfolio Manager

We are seeking a knowledgeable and strategic Web3/Crypto Portfolio Manager to join our growing team. As a Web3/Crypto Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimising a diverse portfolio of digital assets. You will analyse market trends, develop investment strategies, and ensure the portfolio aligns with our overall investment goals.

Role & Responsibilities

• Oversee a diversified portfolio of cryptocurrencies and blockchain projects, making informed investment decisions based on market analysis.
• Conduct in-depth research on emerging trends, projects, and technologies within the Web3 and crypto space.
• Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with investments, utilising quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Create and implement investment strategies that maximise returns while aligning with risk tolerance and financial goals.
• Regularly assess the performance of investments and adjust strategies as necessary.
• Work closely with other teams, including trading, compliance, and technology, to ensure integrated investment approaches.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for stakeholders, detailing portfolio performance, market insights, and strategic recommendations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g. MBA) or relevant certifications (CFA, CAIA) is a plus.
• Proven experience in portfolio management of AUM of US$80m to US$100m or more; trading, or investment analysis, exposure in the crypto or fintech space is highly preferred.
• Track record of managing crypto funds with strong ROI.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and decentralised finance (DeFi).
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
• Familiarity with various crypto trading platforms and portfolio management tools.
• Prior team management experience, with the ability to lead and mentor team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, adapting quickly to new challenges and opportunities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Passion for cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, with a commitment to staying up-to-date with industry developments.
