What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the financial closing process—monthly and annually—ensuring everything runs smoothly and on time.
- Prepare, review, and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements with precision.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, IFRS, and Singaporean financial regulations.
- Keep an eye on cash flow, ensuring stability and financial agility.
- Build and maintain financial forecasting models that drive smarter business decisions.
- Analyze financial performance, uncover insights, and provide recommendations that matter.
- Manage internal and external audits, making sure everything is up to standard and audit-ready.
- Address audit queries and implement improvements to enhance financial processes.
- Generate high-quality financial reports that inform leadership and guide strategy.
- Stay ahead of financial regulations and ensure we’re always compliant.
- Provide sharp, data-backed analysis to help senior management make the right calls.
- Support and oversee transactional finance activities in the initial phase, keeping operations seamless.
- Post-transition, shift focus to FP&A, reporting quality, and deep financial analysis.
What You Bring to the Table
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is a plus!).
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in financial management—bonus points if it’s in automotive, retail, or wholesale industries!
- Experience with Shared Services Centres (SSC) and finance process migration is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong expertise in IFRS and a solid track record of preparing audited financial reports.
- Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite and Microsoft Excel.
- Sharp analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills—you can break down financial data for non-financial folks.
- A proactive mindset, always looking for ways to improve and optimize processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment where deadlines matter.
