Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Engineer to join our aviation manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality and efficient production of aircraft components. This role requires a strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing standards, materials, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations for aviation components and assemblies.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain production processes to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Work closely with design, quality assurance, and procurement teams to meet production targets and timelines.
  • Analyze production data and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO, and other relevant aerospace standards.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation and reports.
  • Support the implementation of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma practices.
  • Monitor safety standards and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 2–5+ years of experience in production engineering within an aerospace or aviation manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with CNC machining, composites, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly processes.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks, etc.)
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Understanding of GD&T, BOMs, and technical drawings.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt).
  • Experience with aircraft structural components or interior systems.
