Role Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager, (Treasury and FP&A) to lead treasury and financial planning and analysis activities for Blueleaf Energy’s operations in Singapore and the broader APAC region. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving strategic financial insights, supporting business decision-making, and ensuring robust financial performance management. This position will report to the Head of Finance, FP&A and will be instrumental in strengthening Blueleaf Energy’s financial planning capabilities.
How You Will Make an Impact
Cash Management
- Oversee the liquidity needs of all BLE group companies
- Ensure sufficient and timely liquidity for operational needs for all the group entities.
- Manage cash positioning and optimize the balance of funds.
- Coordinate internally with relevant departments to make sure funds are drawn down timely from parent entity.
- Coordinating with banks and leading the issuances of Bank Guarantees.
- Prepare intercompany agreements (mainly loan agreements) for transfer of funds across entities.
Financial Planning, Forecasting and Reporting (Treasury)
- Prepare and analyse periodic cash flow statements and forecasts for the group.
- Periodic reporting of commitments and cash flow requirements to the parent company.
- Recording and reporting off balance sheet commitments for the group.
- Compute interest receivables / payables for group entities on inter-company loans and coordinate with accounting teams for periodic entries in books.
Risk Management
- Building relationships with banks and financial institutions, develop and use hedging strategies to protect against market volatility.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks related to currency, interest rates, and return on investments.
Financing activities
- Lead discussions with banks and financial institutions to negotiate favourable loan terms, including interest rates, repayment schedules and collateral requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information and documents for loan applications and approval process.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to loan agreements and financial reporting.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and regulatory reviews.
Management reporting
- Assist with periodic planning, forecasting, financial analysis and management reporting including analysis and reporting of operational expenses, P&L and Balance sheet.
- Assist with coordination, collection, analysis and compilation of data for company’s quarterly performance presentation and annual strategy presentation.
- Periodic reporting of financial and operational KPIs to the shareholders.
- Development and preparation of other ad hoc reports.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Business, Economics, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in treasury, financial management and management reporting.
- Competent skills in MS Excel.
- Demonstrable experience in preparing material for senior management consumption
- Familiarity with Financial Instruments and Financing products
- Self-starter that can work autonomously
