  • Prepare a variety of baked goods such as breads, pastries, cakes, tarts, cookies, and desserts.
  • Create and test new recipes to develop innovative pastry items for menus.
  • Decorate and present pastries to ensure high visual and taste quality.
  • Manage kitchen inventory and order supplies to ensure ingredients are always available.
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the baking and preparation areas.
  • Monitor baking temperatures and times to ensure proper results.
  • Supervise junior pastry staff and provide training when necessary.
  • Work closely with the executive chef or kitchen team for event planning or special menus.
  • Ensure all food prepared meets safety and quality standards.
