- Set up and manage the rehearsal space
- Record blocking, timings, and director's notes
- Track script and staging changes
- Ensure cast attendance and punctuality
- Maintain clear communication between director and departments
- Monitor safety and working conditions
- Coordinate prop and costume needs for rehearsal
- Call the show (lighting, sound, set, etc.) via headset
- Ensure all cues are executed on time and correctly
- Manage backstage activity and scene transitions
- Handle emergencies or performance disruptions
- Write and distribute daily performance reports
- Maintain cast and crew morale and discipline
