Account Strategist, Mid-Market Sales

Google will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require Google's sponsorship of a visa.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in advertising sales, media account management, and achieving goals to drive client growth.
- Experience working with and communicating effectively with advertisers, agencies, or clients and influencing C-level stakeholders.
- Experience in consulting, entrepreneurship, or digital marketing, executing multi-quarter strategies.
- Knowledge of Google Ads and traditional and online marketing strategy and tactics.
- Ability to strategically assess and solve client needs via sales techniques, effective questioning, objection handling and competitive selling, and leverage data to uncover insights to support proposals and analyze impact.

Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of businesses and develop an understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
- Establish credibility with C-level clients and senior partner stakeholders, and serve as a trusted consultant to optimize and expand their advertising investment.
- Structure a joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success.
- Understand business growth drivers and risks and create multi-quarter plans to achieve growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.
- Develop data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
