We’re Hiring: A full-time Accountant based in Singapore (Hybrid Role, Global Scope)

At Rently, we’re on a mission to revolutionise the rental market, enabling flexible, monthly rental payments and removing upfront barriers. Behind our tech platform is a lean, ambitious team. We're now looking for a skilled Accountant to lead our Singapore financial operations while supporting UAE and other group entities.

What You’ll Do:

• Handle the Books – Own daily bookkeeping and accounting functions for our Singapore entity.
• Close the Month Right – Reconcile accounts, close books, and assist in group reporting across Singapore, UAE, and other regions.
• Manage Inter company Transactions – Ensure timely and accurate inter company reconciliations across entities.
• Track the Loan Book – Monitor amortisation schedules, interest accruals, and repayments for internal and external loans.
• Stay Compliant – Oversee GST filings, CPF contributions, IRAS tax submissions, and ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
Think Beyond Borders – Collaborate with finance leads globally to standardize and scale cross-entity accounting processes

Who You Are:

• Accounting Professional – Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally in startups or tech driven environments.
• Singapore-Savvy – Familiar with GST, CPF, IRAS filing, and local statutory requirements.
  Bonus: Familiarity with UAE VAT laws and financial compliance is a plus.
• Globally Minded – Comfortable managing cross-border accounting functions, particularly across Singapore and UAE.
• Detail-Oriented – Precision is your default, and you see how every line item connects to the bigger picture.
Strong Communicator – You work seamlessly across time zones and bring clarity to complex topics
