JOB SUMMARY

The IT Executive is responsible for supporting the day-to-day IT operations of the hotel. This includes troubleshooting issues, maintaining system performance, and ensuring smooth functioning of desktop, server, and network systems. The role provides frontline technical support to both colleagues and guests, ensuring that all IT needs are met promptly, professionally, and in accordance with the hotel’s standards. The IT Executive will also support hardware and software setup, system configuration, and help onboard new users.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Provide first-line IT support for all hotel employees, resolving hardware, software, and network issues
  • Troubleshoot and support Windows Servers and desktop environments
  • Install, configure, and test new workstations, printers, and peripheral devices
  • Handle IT-related guest support, ensuring quick and effective resolution of issues
  • Perform regular health checks of systems and networks to ensure optimal performance
  • Support database backup processes and monitor storage capacity
  • Maintain documentation of IT systems, support logs, and incident reports
  • Assist in onboarding of new employees by setting up IT accounts and access rights
  • Modify system configurations and software settings when necessary
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers for maintenance or support matters
  • Maintain the cleanliness and security of IT equipment and server rooms
  • Attend all briefings, meetings, and training as required by the management
  • Be familiar with and adhere to hotel fire & life safety and emergency procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE

  • Diploma in Information Technology or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in IT support or operations
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and networks
  • Service-oriented with attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and reliable
  • Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
