Buggy Driver

JOB SUMMARY

As a Buggy Driver, you are the first and last point of contact for our guests. You will deliver a seamless and welcoming arrival and departure experience through professional buggy transport service within the resort. You are responsible for ensuring all guest movements via buggy are safe, efficient, and conducted with genuine hospitality. You will also assist with guest luggage and provide helpful information to enhance the guest experience.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Greet and welcome guests with warmth and courtesy at designated pick-up points
• Drive guests safely and comfortably in the buggy to and from villas, restaurants, and resort facilities
• Assist guests with luggage handling during arrival, departure, or upon request
• Ensure the buggy is clean, well-maintained, and fully charged at all times
• Be familiar with the layout of the resort and provide information about resort facilities and services
• Escort guests and offer assistance in a friendly, proactive manner
• Learn and use guest names, especially repeat and long-staying guests
• Ensure guest safety during all buggy rides, adhering to resort driving protocols
• Monitor guest movement and traffic flow, ensuring efficient and timely buggy service
• Maintain cleanliness and order at buggy stations and guest arrival areas
• Support the concierge and front office teams with any special transport arrangements
• Handle guest requests and feedback professionally, escalating issues when necessary
• Log all incidents or special requests in the Duty Log for follow-up
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE

• Secondary/High School education
• Possess a valid Class 3 driving license
• Minimum 1 year experience in hospitality or guest-facing roles
• At least 5 years of driving experience with a clean driving record
• Previous experience operating electric buggies or similar transport vehicles preferred
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Friendly, well-groomed, and customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills
• Able to communicate clearly in English
• Physically fit to assist with luggage handling and extended driving durations
• Basic knowledge of luxury service standards is an advantage
