Commercial Divers / Dive Tenders

About the Role:

We are actively seeking highly skilled and experienced Commercial Divers and Dive Tenders to join our growing team for various inland and offshore commercial diving operations . This role involves performing underwater tasks including vessel hull cleaning, inspection, repair, maintenance, and other class-related husbandry services, in strict compliance with industry safety and quality standards.

As a Commercial Diver or Tender, you will work under the supervision of Diving Supervisors and be responsible for carrying out daily underwater operations using surface-supplied air gear and a wide range of tools and equipment. The work requires physical endurance, attention to safety, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform underwater operations including inspection, hull cleaning, maintenance, and installation of marine components
• Understand and follow instructions from the Lead Diver and Diving Supervisor
• Conduct pre-dive equipment checks to ensure safety and functionality
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the dive plan, routine procedures, and emergency protocols
• Operate and maintain diving equipment such as brush carts, underwater cameras, and support tools
• Carry out topside and underwater rigging
• Report any medical symptoms, hazards, or near-miss incidents immediately
• Ensure that personal dive logs and medical certifications are current and accurate
• Participate in hazard identification and risk assessments
• Adhere to all Company and Client QHSE policies, procedures, and worksite safety requirements
• Maintain clear communication with team members during all operations
• Operate in compliance with SS511: Code of Practice for Diving at Work

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Valid Commercial Diving certification in compliance with SS511 standards
• Must possess a valid and approved diving medical certificate
• Previous experience in maritime or commercial diving operations is preferred
• Working knowledge of diving support equipment , tools, and rigging
• Ability to wear and operate a commercial diving helmet (25–30 lbs) for extended durations (up to 4 hours/day)
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions (rain, heat, storm, etc.)
• Willingness to travel and work remotely for several days if required
• Strong team player with excellent discipline, safety awareness, and work ethic
• Must be legally authorized to work in Singapore
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
