Technician (Water Treatment)

Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on and dependable Water Treatment Technician to support the operation and maintenance of water treatment systems. The ideal candidate will assist with on-site servicing, system troubleshooting, piping works, and repairs to ensure efficient and safe operation of all equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine monitoring and maintenance of water treatment systems.
• Provide technical support and advice to clients on system performance and operational issues.
• Troubleshoot system faults and carry out necessary repairs.
• Conduct piping work, equipment installation, and servicing jobs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Maintain accurate records of servicing, repairs, and inspections.
• Support system upgrades or modifications as needed.

Requirements

• NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in water treatment plant/system servicing is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of piping, pumps, valves, and instrumentation.
• Able to interpret technical drawings and work independently or in a team.
• Physically fit for fieldwork and willing to travel to site locations when required.
• Possession of a valid driving license is an advantage.
