At our organisation, Kindergarten Care (KCare) teachers are referred to as KCare Programme Staff — the heart of our early childhood programme. They play a vital role in nurturing, guiding, and inspiring young children during their crucial developmental years. Through their care and dedication, they help build each child’s confidence, character, and love for learning. Roles & Responsibilities

  • Engage with and manage children aged 4 to 6 in a nurturing and stimulating environment.
  • Implement age-appropriate, developmental, and engaging programmes and activities that support holistic growth.
  • Foster positive values and provide guidance to support children's character development.
  • Set up and maintain learning environments and resources in accordance with KCare Programme safety and health standards.
  • Build strong relationships with parents through regular communication on their child’s development and achievements.
  • Facilitate both indoor and outdoor activities with active involvement to encourage participation and engagement.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of each child by observing for signs of illness, emotional distress, or developmental concerns, and documenting progress.
  • Offer emotional support and a warm, caring presence to help children feel secure and valued.
  • Maintain classroom and playground order while promoting a positive learning atmosphere.


Qualifications:

- WSQ Student Care Centre - Early Years (EY) or

  • Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Care & Education (ACECCE)
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education (DECCE-T) or equivalent


Locations of Job Openings: Islandwide

Working Hours:

  • No less than 19.5 Hours per week
  • Monday- Friday
  • Part-Time
