Global Head of HSE / Logistics MNC / Central

Our client is a Logistics MNC. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Global Head of HSE to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the Central.

Job Responsibilities

• Act as a key advisor to the regional leadership team on HSE-related strategies, compliance, and risk matters.
• Drive the development and implementation of regional Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) initiatives, ensuring alignment with global directives and local operational needs.
• Promote a proactive safety culture by engaging teams at all levels and embedding strong HSE values throughout the organisation.
• Ensure regional practices align with local regulatory requirements, internal standards, and global policies.
• Coordinate relevant training and awareness programs to strengthen employee understanding.
• Lead efforts to maintain and support ISO certification processes and adherence to key industry standards.
• Conduct and manage regular safety inspections, compliance checks, and risk evaluations across all sites.
• Oversee incident investigations across the region, ensuring proper root cause analysis and timely corrective actions.
• Organise and lead regular regional HSE meetings to drive continuous improvement and team accountability.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to maintain and improve safety performance.
• Provide HSE support for market expansions and new site setups, ensuring all operations meet company safety and compliance standards.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Min Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
• Min 10 years of relevant experience in HSE roles, with a minimum of 5 years in a regional capacity.
• Strong understanding of HSE regulations across the Asia-Pacific region, along with familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Professional HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or ISO Lead Auditor will be advantageous.
• Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills across different levels of an organisation.
• Proactive, analytical, and solutions-driven mindset with the ability to lead HSE initiatives regionally.
• Willing to travel overseas
