Purchasing Assistant

• 5 work days | Location: Tannery Road (Straight bus at Toa Payoh/ Tai Seng/ MacPherson MRT)
• Construction Main Contractor industry
• Salary: $3,000 - $3,500

Responsibilities:

• Assist in sourcing and purchasing construction materials, tools, and equipment as per project requirements.
• Request and compare quotations from multiple suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
• Prepare purchase orders (POs) and ensure proper documentation for procurement transactions.
• Track orders and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely arrival of materials on-site.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure a steady supply of materials.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules under the guidance of the Purchasing Officer.
• Resolve supplier-related issues, such as delays, discrepancies, or quality concerns
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, delivery schedules, and supplier details.
• Ensure all procurement documents are properly filed and comply with company policies.
• Any other duties as assigned by Purchasing Manager from time to time.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of relevant working experience
