For the past 32 years, System Technic has been trusted for our high service quality and reliability, specialising in the areas of electrical licensing, and maintenance, servicing and testing of electrical installations, 22kV switchgears, transformers, power cables and low voltage switchboards.
Our team is growing. As part of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that job site operations and related responsibilities run smoothly and efficiently.
The Role

The Role
- Maintenance and testing of high-tension switchgear, transformers, low voltage switchboards and cables in Power Distribution network.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting for faulty electrical systems
- Manage and coordinate with clients on schedules, the scope of works, on-site issues, technical issue, when the needs arise.
- Timely completion of site work or documentation such as service report, test report, post service report
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of power electrical works
- Staying up to date with the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices in power engineering
- Participate in project planning, management, and execution.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management.
- A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 2 years of experience in power electrical engineering, preferably in the industrial or commercial sectors
- Willing to work on weekends, public holidays and overnight due to the nature of business.
- Proficiency in electrical power systems, including power transmission, and distribution
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Takes initiative for personal and professional development.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
