Database Engineer

Job Description

In your day-to-day role, your responsibilities include:

• Support database platform initiatives focused on scalability and operational reliability
• Assist with implementing cloud-native data solutions and multi-cloud database strategies
• Collaborate on infrastructure-as-code projects to enhance automation capabilities
• Implement secure data handling practices, including encryption and access controls
• Contribute to monitoring and observability improvements for database systems
• Perform detailed performance tuning and system optimization tasks
• Participate in incident resolution efforts to minimize downtime and drive system stability.
• Work with multiple cross-functional stakeholders to understand technical requirements and deliver database solutions
• Collaborate effectively with teams to drive incident resolution and identify areas for improvement.

What do you need to bring:

• 9+ years of hands-on experience with advanced database technologies
• Proven experience in designing and supporting data platforms at scale
• Experience with cloud computing architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and deliver impactful results
• Vision for driving technological innovation and automation
