Machine Operation
- Operate production machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
- Set up machines for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment.
- Monitor machine performance during operation to ensure it is functioning properly and efficiently.
- Monitor the production process to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Perform regular inspections of products during and after production to identify defects or inconsistencies.
- Record production data, including quantities produced, machine performance, and any issues encountered.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues that may arise during production.
- Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning, and part replacement, to prevent breakdowns.
- Report any major equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the maintenance team or supervisor for further action.
- Follow quality control procedures to ensure that all products meet company standards and customer expectations.
- Report any deviations from quality standards to the supervisor and take corrective action as directed.
- Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and follow safety procedures for handling machinery and materials.
- Participate in safety training sessions and report any unsafe conditions or incidents to the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, production quantities, and any issues encountered.
- Complete production reports and other required documentation as instructed by the supervisor.
- Assist in maintaining inventory records of materials and supplies used in production.
- Work closely with other production operators, technicians, and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks, share information, and address any production-related issues.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving production processes and efficiency.
- Keep the work area clean and organized to maintain a safe and efficient production environment.
- Perform regular cleaning of machinery, tools, and equipment to prevent contamination and ensure proper functioning.
- Dispose of waste materials according to company policies and environmental regulations.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as lean manufacturing practices, to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Provide feedback to supervisors and suggest ideas for improving production processes, equipment performance, and safety.
