RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position is for College of Integrative Studies (CIS).
- Manage the BIS and ISM termly advisor-student updates, including tracking student progress reports, submission to RO/UCC, and communication with students and faculty members on outcomes.
- Facilitate the appointment of thesis mentors and industry mentors (for final-year undergraduates).
- Organise the BIS Symposium for Year 2 students and the BIS Colloquium for students graduating from the BIS programme.
- Plan and manage events relevant to the BIS programme such as academic briefings and workshops, in collaboration with CIS IM Committee.
- Process applications, course worksheets and transfer of credits of outbound students on exchange and external study programmes.
- Advise students on academic operation matters relating to the Bachelor of Integrative Studies and Individualised Second Major programmes, including course bidding and enrolment, and other graduation requirements which are part of the programmes
- Process applications, course worksheets and transfer of credits of outbound students on exchange and external study programmes.
- Support the organisation of and participate in events at the School and University level.
- Perform other duties as and when assigned.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in administrative work would be required and/or minimum of 3 years of demonstrated performance in a higher education administrative role.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with faculty, staff and students.
- Excellent organisational skills, with a meticulous nature and a keen attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word and Excel).
- Strong work ethic.
