We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports for our company. Location: Singapore Central-Chinatown Point

Position : Part-time Accounts and HR Admin

Commitment : 15 hours/week, 3 hours per day

Salary: $14/Hour

Accounts Support (Primary Focus):

  • Recording and maintaining financial transactions in the company’s accounting software, Xero
  • Reconciling bank and credit card statements
  • Preparing and issuing invoices and credit notes
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing process
  • Maintain accurate records of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Assist with monthly financial reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Support year-end compilation of financial reports for audit and filing
  • Process staff expense claims and part-time teacher payments
  • Maintained proper accounting records and assisted with bank reconciliation tasks
  • Handle clients' sales commission payments and reports.

HR Administrative Support (Secondary):

  • Handling the screen candidate and scheduling interviews.
  • Handling of clearing files and document scanning.
  • Assist with general office admin tasks such as document preparation, filing (physical and digital), and record maintenance
  • Answer phone or email inquiries and direct them appropriately
  • Ad hoc duties assigned by HR

Requirement

  • At least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles
  • Proficient in Xero
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
  • An associate's or bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is a plus
