Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Workplace Safety & Health (WSH)

  • Develop and implement WSH policies, SOPs, and risk assessments in compliance with Singapore’s regulatory framework (WSH Act, MOM, SCDF).
  • Conduct regular site inspections across depots, warehouses, and logistics yards to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure staff are trained in safe work practices, emergency response, and incident reporting protocols.
  • Lead investigations of accidents, near misses, and unsafe practices; ensure root causes are addressed.
  • Manage WSH-related documentation, licensing, and regulatory submissions.

Internal Audit Leadership

  • Lead and coordinate internal audits for HSSE compliance, including ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and internal company standards.
  • Develop annual audit plans, execute site audits, and report on non-conformities with recommended actions.
  • Coordinate with operations and leadership to close audit gaps and implement preventive measures.
  • Serve as lead auditor during external audits and support certification and renewal processes.

Vehicle Insurance & Fleet Risk Management

  • Manage the full cycle of vehicle insurance for company fleet (goods vehicles, forklifts, trailers, etc.).
  • Liaise with insurers for policy renewals, claims management, accident reporting, and cost control.
  • Maintain updated vehicle insurance records, claims tracking, and ensure compliance with statutory motor insurance requirements.
  • Analyze vehicle incident trends and recommend fleet safety improvement programs.

Job Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Logistics, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH or equivalent qualifications (e.g., WSHO/WSH Coordinator).
  • Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 highly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in safety roles within logistics, depot, transport, or warehouse sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and vehicle insurance policies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and incident management systems.
