Responsibilities of a CAD Drafter

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD based on design specifications and sketches.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, or project managers to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings.
• Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design changes, client feedback, or field modifications.
• Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, local codes, and industry best practices.
• Maintain organized drawing files and proper documentation for project tracking and revisions.
• Interpret design intent from rough sketches, notes, and verbal instructions.
• Assist in preparing construction documents, layouts, plans, sections, and detail drawings.
• Support the design team in meeting project timelines and deliverables.
