Cloud Engineer

Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering

• Design and deploy cloud infrastructure solutions with a focus on scalability, resilience, and security.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and automation tools for efficient cloud operations.
• Apply best practices in cloud cost optimization, networking, identity management, and compliance.

Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Support

• Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of ECM platforms (e.g., Documentum, FileNet, OpenText, SharePoint, or similar).
• Ensure ECM systems integrate well with enterprise applications and cloud storage solutions.
• Manage metadata schemas, document lifecycles, access control, and archival strategies.

Systems Integration & Automation

• Work closely with application, data, and security teams to integrate ECM systems with business workflows and third-party platforms.
• Automate provisioning, monitoring, and content-related operations using scripting tools (PowerShell, Bash, Python) and infrastructure-as-code.

Operational Excellence

• Monitor system health, performance, and capacity, proactively addressing issues before they impact users.
• Maintain clear documentation and contribute to playbooks for deployment, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• 2+ years of experience working with ECM platforms in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible), and CI/CD tools.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and authentication in cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with enterprise integrations
• Knowledge of document lifecycle management, information governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with hybrid (on-prem/cloud) content storage models.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
