Superintendent – Electrical & Instrumentation

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and organize daily, ad-hoc, and shutdown maintenance activities for electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring timely execution within budget and schedule.
• Supervise and mentor in-house technicians and contractor teams , ensuring safe and effective execution of maintenance work.
• Monitor maintenance progress, resolve technical issues, and provide on-site support where necessary.
• Collaborate closely with the Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) department to ensure full compliance with all statutory, industry, and corporate safety regulations .
• Review and improve maintenance procedures and practices to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Prepare and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, work permits, safety documentation, and contractor performance.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance , preferably in an industrial or process plant environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, plant shutdown procedures , and maintenance best practices.
• Experience supervising contractor teams and in-house technicians .
• Familiarity with safety management systems, work permits, and risk assessments .
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a hands-on and team-oriented mindset.
