MOTOR VEHICLE SPRAY PAINTER

Job Responsibilities:

• Performing preparation works and vehicle spray painting jobs.
• Perform preparation works and vehicle spray painting jobs
• Carry out spray painting and polishing works.
• Sanding vehicle panels using power tools and hand tools to ensure smooth surfaces.
• Sand down, cleaning of vehicle, preparing auto parts and other car components prior to performing spray painting job
• Carry out spray painting and polishing works.
• Deliver repaired vehicles on a timely manner
• Maintain consistent high quality of work performance
• Mixing and matching paint colors or selecting pre-mixed options as required.
• Masking non-paintable areas with tape and protective coverings
• Maintain cleanliness of workshop and to follow Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements
• Applying primer and base coatings using a spray gun.
• Applying finishing coats, sanding between layers, and performing touch-ups for flawless results.
• Creating artwork, signs, and applying decals to panels.
• Ensure personal safety at workstation including wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Adhering to safety protocols, including working at heights when necessary.
• Other related duties assigned by superior

Job Requirements:

• Possess good spray painting technical knowledge.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience as an Automotive Painter
• Physically capable of performing the above duties.
• Ability to perform precise work that requires attention to details
• With relevant experience in spray painting work.
