The QHSE Executive reports directly to the Managing Director. The Ideal candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance on all Quality, Health , Safety and Environmental (QHSE) matters, ensuring full compliance with company policies, local and international regulations and industry best practices.

You will be the key point of contact for all QHSE-related activities and will play an essential role in maintaining the Safety and well-being of all personnel onshore & Offhshore.

The QHSE Executive must have a high level of communication skills both written and verbal, be able to communicate at all levels within the organization.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Safety and Risk Management:

  • Lead and support the implementatin of QHSE procedures and policies
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, Safety audits, and safety inspections to ensure compliance with QHSE Standards.
  • Facilitate risk analysis and ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented.
  • Investigate accidents and near-misses, determine root causes,and recommend preventive measures.

Compliance and Regulation:

  • Ensure adherence to all relevant national and international QHSE regulations.
  • Monitor adherence to all client and legislative requirements regarding health, Safety, Environmental and quality standards.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry standards and emerging regulations, providing updates to the team and company leadership.

Training and Development :

  • Conduct QHSE training and awareness programs for offshore personnel, including induction programs and refresher courses.
  • Promote a culture of a safety and continuous improvement among offshore teams.
  • Support the development and coaching of offshore personnel in QHSE best practices.

Incident Reporting and Investigation:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for QHSE incident reporting and investigation offshore.
  • Lead investigations into accidents, near-misses, and Safety violations, ensuring timely reporting, documentation, and follow-up.
  • Compile investigation reports and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.

Emergency Response and Preparedness:

  • Coordinate and ensure the preparedness of offshore emergency response drills, including fire drills, evacuation drills and spill response exercise.
  • Maintain emergency response plans, ensuring they are current, accessible, and practiced regularly.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure quality control and assurance processes are adhered to in all offshore operations.
  • Review work process to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
  • Support the implementation of quality standards and systems (e.g. ISO 9001).

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare and submit regular QHSE performance reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain accurate records of safety meetings, training , incidents, and compliance audits.
  • Ensure all QHSE documentation is kept up to date and in line with company policy.
