Regional Travel Manager - APAC

About the Global Travel Management team
The Global Travel Management team is part of EQT’s Group Finance function and is responsible for setting the strategic direction of EQT’s global travel programme. The team operates where operations, finance, and sustainability meet—collaborating with HR, Finance, Sustainability, and Office Management to ensure an inclusive and efficient travel experience for all employees across our global offices.
About the Role
Based in the APAC region, this role is critical in aligning EQT’s global travel strategies with regional requirements. You’ll ensure our travel operations are efficient, cost-effective, and consistent with EQT’s values—including our commitment to sustainability and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and implement EQT’s global travel programme regionally, ensuring alignment with local laws and travel needs.
- Partner with HR, Finance, Office Management, and business teams to support travel requirements.
- Build strong vendor relationships with regional travel providers, overseeing contracts and performance.
- Monitor travel spending and emissions; support initiatives to reduce both.
- Ensure effective usage and reconciliation of EQT’s corporate card programme.
- Provide insightful travel data analysis and reporting to regional and global stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Security Risk Management to uphold safety standards and fulfil our duty of care.

Desired Skills and Experience
Must-have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Travel, Hospitality or a related field.
- Familiarity with travel management companies (TMCs), online booking tools (OBTs), and payment systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills across diverse cultures.
- Proven ability to analyse data and drive strategic travel improvements.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
Nice-to-have:
- Knowledge of regional languages.
- Experience with sustainability or emissions-related travel policies.
- Familiarity with corporate card programme integrations.
