Art Director

Magnet is an independent communications agency with offices in Singapore and Hong Kong. We are seeking Art Directors who possess the passion, talent, and experience to create innovative digital experiences while leading and developing our digital department. This is a key role at Magnet, where you will craft interactive experiences—from websites to social media posts for some of the most renowned global brands.

As an Art Director, you will lead design on select accounts from concept to launch. You will work closely with your Creative Director and clients throughout a project, including determining creative requirements, presenting design deliverables, and iterating to perfection. The proven ability to balance multiple projects successfully and collaborate across disciplines is critical in our cross-functional environment. This is a hybrid position.

Experience

• 3-5 years’ experience in a digital or integrated agency

• Produce storyboards and scamps to clients

• Commission video houses, and photographers to work on projects

• Mentor, train, and develop junior members of the team

• Able to handle print, such as brochures is an advantage

Requirements:

• Excellent understanding of HTML, HTML 5, JavaScript, jQuery and ActionScript 3

• Expertise in visual, interaction, and motion design (Flash AS & After Effects).

• Expert hands-on knowledge of Adobe CS 6 suite (AI, InDesign, Photoshop)

• Produce storyboards and scamps for clients to work on projects
