About the Role
Are you a results-driven sales professional with a passion for sustainability and a talent for building impactful relationships? Metizoft is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Regional Account Manager to be a pivotal force in our growth across the Asia Pacific region.
In this dynamic and highly collaborative role , you will be instrumental in empowering our regional partners and agents. You will work hand-in-hand with them to champion Metizoft’s cutting-edge “Green” solutions—including Green Ship Recycling, comprehensive ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting, and advanced Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) services. Your efforts will enable our partners to effectively reach a wide spectrum of clients across both maritime and non-marine industries.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
As our Regional Account Manager, your mission will be to drive sales success through strategic partnership and enablement :
- Partner Development & Engagement: Collaborate closely with assigned sales agents, representatives, and partners to jointly identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities for ESG, LCA, and sustainability solutions across the APAC region.
- Strategic Channel Expansion: Proactively research and identify new high-potential sales agents, representatives, and partners in untapped markets where Metizoft currently has no presence, formalizing these relationships.
- Joint Sales Planning: Partner with agents and representatives to co-develop, implement, and execute winning sales plans and strategies, ensuring alignment with regional sales targets and budgets.
- Market Insight & Forecasting: Work alongside partners to gather crucial market insights and provide accurate sales forecasts that inform Metizoft’s overarching business strategy.
- Collaborative Client Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor, working alongside partners to plan and execute impactful meetings with both existing clients and new prospects.
- Compelling Presentations: Deliver powerful and clear presentations that articulate the unique value proposition of our innovative solutions to clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- CRM Excellence: Maintain meticulous and up-to-date records of prospects, partner activities, and sales progress within our CRM system (e.g., HubSpot).
- Relationship Building & Negotiation: Build and nurture robust, mutually beneficial relationships with our Sales Agent Network, fostering strong alignment with Metizoft’s objectives and negotiating terms where necessary.
- Contractual Support: Provide expert guidance and support to partners on contract preparation and negotiations, ensuring compliance with Metizoft's policies and seamless customer onboarding.
- Customer Success & Retention: Collaborate with partners to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention through the delivery of tailored solutions and responsive support.
- Knowledge Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert, continuously updating and educating our Sales Agents, Representatives, and Partners on the latest industry trends, ESG compliance, and IMO sustainability regulations.
- Industry Representation: Represent Metizoft with professionalism at regional and international industry conferences, exhibitions, and client meetings, including occasional travel and networking opportunities.

What We’re Looking For
We seek a proactive and strategic individual who embodies our values:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in any discipline; a background in Maritime or related fields is a significant advantage.
- Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of proven account management success, ideally within the maritime industry, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Experience in SaaS (Software as a Service) sales and/or channel management is highly desirable.
- Communication Mastery: Exceptional verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic Mindset: A decisive, action-oriented, commercially driven, and customer-focused approach.
- Collaboration & Independence: Ability to work both independently and as a highly effective collaborator within a diverse, global team and with external partners.
- Tech Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM platforms (preferably HubSpot).
- Presentation Prowess: Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage, educate, and influence both clients and our sales agent network professionally.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness and flexibility to travel across the APAC region as needed.
- Analytical Acumen: Demonstrated experience in target setting, pipeline management, and sales forecasting.
