Job Title: Senior Finance Manager
Location: Singapore

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Finance Manager to lead and oversee the financial operations of key subsidiaries and the regional holding company. This role is pivotal in ensuring robust financial reporting, fostering effective business collaboration, and managing a high-performing accounting team. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, sharp analytical skills, and a proactive leadership style.
Key Responsibilities
1. Finance and Business Reporting
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting processes for key subsidiaries and the regional holding company.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/local GAAP).
- Monitor financial performance and provide insights into variances against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
- Support statutory audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance across relevant jurisdictions.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and corporate governance standards.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
2. Business Collaboration & Analysis
- Act as a strategic finance partner to senior business leaders by providing financial insights, scenario analysis, and decision support.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for assigned entities, working closely with commercial and operational teams.
- Analyze business performance, identify trends, and recommend actionable strategies to drive financial health and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Tax, Treasury, Legal) to support business initiatives, investments, and compliance.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support business planning, risk management, and strategic projects.
3. Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals responsible for the financial operations of the subsidiaries and holding entity.
- Allocate and prioritize tasks effectively to ensure timely delivery of key financial outputs.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development.
- Support talent development through coaching, training, and performance reviews.
- Act as a liaison between group finance and local teams to align expectations, reporting requirements, and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- Minimum 7–9 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Candidate with Commodities experience has advantage
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/local GAAP) and financial controls.
- Proven experience in managing finance teams and working with senior leadership.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience working in a multinational environment is a plus.
